VINTAGE
MY STORY The Lucille Gown was reworked in collaboration with our in-house designer, Lily Abbitt. This early 1940s gown features a rounded neckline with satin ruffle detail, a basque waistline (also trimmed in the same satin ruffles), a back middle zipper and a voluminous liquid satin skirt that extends into a train at the back. The waistline features shirring at the sides to create a flattering hourglass silhouette. By removing the sleeves and traditional high neckline collar, the Lucille gown has been modernized to create a sleek and elegant silhouette - could also be styled with a crinoline to create added fullness in the skirt.
