MY STORY Absolutely exquisite 1940s silk gown with attached cathedral length train. The fabric is extremely special and features a unique and intricate botanical pattern - the leaves look like love hearts! Details also include a two layer Peter Pan collar, buttons up the front, a natural waistline with metal zipper at the side, full length sheer sleeves with buttoned cuffs and a full, two layer skirt. To add more fullness, this dress could be worn with a petticoat. The Claire Gown is an excellent example of the simple but elegant designs popular during and shortly after WW2.
