MY STORY The Albertine Gown is an exceptional example of late 1930s / early 1940s liquid satin. This beautiful piece features a high neckline with a mesh insert trimmed in ric rac, an expertly draped bodice, full length satin sleeves with sharp V buttoned cuffs, buttons up the back and a billowing skirt, shorter in the front and longer in the back to create a train silhouette. The waistline is so unique and is embellished in satin piping, creating a beautiful and striking shape.
