MY STORY Absolutely exquisite 1950s silk organza gown - this is one of the most special dresses we've ever come across. The Emilia is fit for a princess. Its features include a boat neckline encrusted in scalloped lace, capped sleeves, natural waistline in a basque shape, a darted bodice with bow detail center front and metal zipper up the back. Can you believe that this dress is not pictured with a petticoat underneath? It has that voluminous shape all on its own! The skirt features three layers including a simple underskirt and inbuilt tulle crinoline. The outer skirt is majestic and extends into a long train at the back. It cascades out from the nipped in waistline and is decorated in intricate lace panels and white satin ribbon. In the back, thick panels of satin extend from the waist to the hemline. There is a bow on the center back which houses the buttons for bustling the skirt underneath!
